AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS

VALOMEC provides reliable, high-efficiency systems for pollutant removal from the air and odor control.

Wet processes for air purification

The wet scrubber process involves horizontal or vertical scrubbers for the removal of pollutants or odor control, featuring one or more independent washing stages. These products can be constructed from polypropylene (PP), PVC, HDPE, or stainless steel, all of which are corrosion-resistant materials.

This type of scrubber is widely used for organic odor control and the removal of acidic or alkaline gases through various washing stages. The systems can be equipped with pH, redox potential, or electrical conductivity measurement instruments, with automatic systems capable of replenishing reagents and discharging used wash solutions.

Examples of applications

Systems for neutralizing acids downstream of waste incinerators

Control systems for odor substances installed in the industry for the purification of organic and inorganic compounds

Systems for the removal of oil mist generated from synthetic fiber processing or cathodic dip painting

Air treatment systems for the removal of gaseous pollutants, fumes, oil mists, and dust

Dry processes for air purification

Activated carbon and biofiltration are some of the possible solutions for the removal of VOCs and odors from a gas stream.

Examples of applications

Biofiltration to neutralize odors from waste treatment

Biofiltration for odor neutralization from wastewater

Activated carbon units after a wet deodorization system installed at a wastewater treatment plant
